It's the last week before the annual Sundance invasion hits Park City and Salt Lake. Meanwhile, there are a handful of good times to be had - let's look at your best bets for the first half of the week.
Devon Allman's Honeytribe will headline a gig Wednesday at The State Room. Yes, he's Gregg Allman's son - and the St. Louis-based group is touring behind "Space Age Blues." As a long-time Allman Brothers fan, I'm quite curious about Honeytribe and its leader, pictured above. Also, the spouse of veteran musician Tim Bluhm - of The Mother Hips - hits The State Room on Wednesday night when Nicki Bluhm and The Gramblers opens the 8 p.m. show. Tickets remain on sale.
Check out this recent video of Devon. Not bad, eh? http://youtu.be/kKQfPDhC6xk
Also, don't forget the Jazz are home Tuesday and Wednesday night (Thank the recently ended NBA lockout for back-to-back home games) against the Cavs and Lakers, respectively. Tickets are available at smithstix.com.
