Once those gifts are opened, you'll need something to do—aside from playing with all your new toys. So, get the family together for a movie. If you need help getting in the holiday spirit, check out the Desert Star's newest play. For some post-Christmas fun, check out Heber Valley Railroad.
It's a Wonderful Life: Winging in the Holidays
If you've seen a show at the Desert Star, you know you'll leave in a great mood. So it's the perfect place to be for the season of giving.
Catch the theatre's parody of It's a Wonderful Life, where George Bailey faces down the meanest guy in town, Henry Potter. Luckily, he gets some help from the Fonz-inspired Johnny Angel.
Plenty of pop culture reference, and you'll be sure to hear a lot of jokes catering to a local crowd.

Heber Valley Railroad
Usually, we save this space to tell you what you should do with the kids over the weekend, but right now we're going to save you a trip. Saturday, Dec. 24 is the last day to ride the North Pole Express with live performances by local choirs on your way to a winter wonderland.
Unfortunately, it's totally SOLD OUT. Do not make the drive to Heber Valley, unless you have tix already.
Luckily, the Lakeside Limited and the Tube 'n' Train Adventure are still available and pick up right after Christmas on Dec. 26.
