Here’s what Salt Lake lacks: Wackiness. The good kind. We’ve got plenty of nuttos who follow each other like sheep down the well-trodden paths of conventional nonsense, but few creative types who actually push boundaries, obliterate stereotypes, challenge orthodoxy and dare to have fun in the face of it all.

Hello, Stephen Brown.

For frankly-I-don’t-know-how-many years Brown’s been dancing to his own music, producing thought-provoking and lovely shows that combine grace, agility and humor. Whether you leave an SBDance production loving it or hating it, you will not leave bored, and boredom is the bane of life in SLC.

So, here’s your chance to enjoy and even participate in an evening devoted to supporting this sprout of creativity in our city’s concrete imagination.

It's called WTF. And here's what it is...

It’s a fundraiser with wine, theater and food at Rose Wagner Blackbox Theater on December 3. Flashy sets, fun performances, wine and food from Salt Lake restaurants, plus a silent auction, disco lessons and a mirror ball.
