Now is the time to ask yourself if you really need that bag of winter hats that has been stashed in the attic for several seasons past. Lighten the load on your coat rack and clean out your closet that's bulging with unworn jackets.

The Bank of Utah is hoping to warm both bodies and souls this year with their winter clothing drive—a campaign that will be paired with the bank's annual sponsorship of the John Schmidt Christmas concert series.

Composer and pianist John Schmidt will get you in the spirit of giving with three heart-warming performances of New Age music that combine classical, contemporary and rock and roll. Dec. 6 at Peery's Egyptian Theatre in Ogden and Dec. 16 and 17 at Kingsbury Hall in Salt Lake City.

At each event, the Bank of Utah will be collecting donations of new or gently-used coats, hats, scarves, gloves and blankets and new children's underwear. All donations will be delivered to St. Anne's Center in Ogden and Crossroads Urban Center in Salt Lake in time for Christmas.

The concerts will begin at 7:30 pm and ticket prices range from $18.50-$30.
