Park City's Egyptian Theatre prides itself in providing fantastic, live performances for over 30 years and wants to celebrate with its fans. They have invited long-time musician and music producer, Jim Messina, to help them celebrate.

Jim has had a long and diverse musical career. He has spent time as a musician and then producer for Columbia Records. His past is highlighted with co-founding the country rock group Poco, who performed to enthusiastic crowds this last August; coaching, producing and performing with Kenny Logins, famous singer of Footloose and Danger Zone; and most recently his creation of his own band with whom he tours regularly.

Theater Director, Randy Barton, is ecstatic to have such a big name come to the Egyptian Theatre, "I, along with many of my generation, am a big fan of Jim Messina." The theater is an intimate venue that only holds about 260 people. "Our acoustics are fantastic and everyone has a great seat," says Barton. With great sound and an intimate setting, fans of Messina and regulars at the theater can spend a wonderful evening getting to know this talented musician.

The official 30 year mark is Monday, Oct. 10, but Messina will be performing on stage with his band the 14th and 15th at 8 p.m.
