Got plans for tomorrow night? Here’s a once-in-a-lifetime evening for you: A Nocturnal Fruit Forage.

Fallen Fruit of Utah, the exhibit of historical, symbolic and decorative fruit images telling a tale of the Beehive State at Salt Lake Art Center, is on display for another week or so. Tomorrow night (September 10) at 7 p.m., meet the artists—David Burns, Matias Viegener and Austin Young—behind the exhibit on the corner of 9th South and 9th East for an ambulatory evening of public fruit picking.

Bring a picker if you have one and some old grocery bags. Let Fallen Fruit will show you their vision of Salt Lake, using fruit as their lens.

After you’re done picking fruit, go drink some. Jimmy Santangelo, new beverage director at Copper Onion, is doing marvelous things with pressed watermelon and liquor in a Mason jar.
