Chelsie loved running. She ran her first marathon three years ago, trained vigorously and followed up with a half marathon. She coached and trained with others who shared her passion and was on her way to even more success in running—but died in a tragic car accident in late 2010.

In memory of Chelsie and her passion for running, those closest to her created the Chelsie Hill 5K. More than just a memorial, the run raises money to help others in the community each year.
Proceeds from the 2011 5K will help fund 7-year-old Samantha Milbourn's battle with Ewings Sarcoma, a childhood cancer. Samantha's set to undergo 14 rounds of chemotherapy and radiation treatments over the next year with spinal surgery in the near future.
