We're pretty used to including "ski jumping is the only discipline in the Summer and Olympic Winter Games that doesn't allow women to compete" every time we write about the Visa Women's Ski Jumping Team”but now they can, and the US team is going to celebrate the win for gender equality.

The Ski Jumping team's Join the Journey benefit will be held at a luxurious, $10 million home in Glenwild, Park City on July 15.

Go for gourmet food and drink from local restaurants and a live and silent auction, music by Elodie Tomlinson and Michael Wollery and to meet the US Women Ski Jumpers. You also might also end up in our magazine. We're getting photos from the event for our People pages.

Tix are $150 per person (lowered from last year). Click here to buy tix now or for more info.

The announcement that women would be able to participate in ski jumping at the Olympic Winter Games in Sochi, Russia in 2014 came from the International Olympic Committee in April.
