The Sugar House Park Fireworks are a must-see as Salt Lake's most popular fireworks and are still on after being saved from budget cuts this year! After an evening of live music from local bands (including our fav Ryan Shupe and the Rubber Band), the show begins at 10:00pm Monday night, July 4th, at Sugar House Park, 1300 East 2100 South. The details and line-up of events can be found here! Pack a picnic and a blanket and take in the states favorite show. Get there early, parking gets hectic!
Too hot in SLC? Head up to Park City for entertainment all weekend and a bit cooler temps. Canyons is hosting a free celebration on Sunday, July 3rd featuring live music by The Soulistics at 7:30pm and fireworks at 9:30pm. For more information, check out their event page here. Continue celebrating with all day events including Park City's famous parade celebrating the history of the town, live music, a beer garden, and fireworks again at Park City Mountain Resort at dusk. Don't miss the local rodeo in Oakley (June 30-July 4) or 5k and breakfast in the morning (registration starts at 7:00 am). We know the parade gets pretty wild, so we'd love to see your pictures after-the-fact. Post them on our Facebook wall!
For an all day outing with the family, check out the 4th of July celebration at Murray Fun Days! The day begins with a breakfast and parade at Murray Park, followed by free activities for the kids, a children's race, live entertainment and fireworks at 10:00pm. Sandy 4th Celebration is also perfect for families. The day features Sandy police and fire activities, which are great for kids, as well as afternoon and evening concerts. The Fireworks Sky Concert begins at 10:00pm with great views from the grassy South Towne Promenade.
While you can always find a great view of the mountains here in Salt Lake, Franklin Covey Field, home of the Salt Lake Bees, has one of the best of the Wasatch Mountains. This fourth of July, enjoy the fireworks from your stadium seats after the Salt Lake Bees take on the Las Vegas 51s at 7:05pm. You can purchase your tickets at the box office or online.
