What are you doing this weekend?

Yeah, I know, it's only Tuesday and I'm already looking ahead. However, it's a BUSY, busy, busy weekend around the state and there is a handful of things to do and events to attend taking place. Obviously we will be getting all sorts of artsy at the Utah Arts Festival, but we are quite excited about a little gourmand experience on Saturday.

Saturday marks the 4th annual Savor the Summit in Park City. Not familiar with it? Savor is a celebration of summer, music, food and the mountain atmosphere. The Park City Restaurant Association blocks off main street to vehicle traffic, setting up one long, continuous table spanning the length of Main Street. Attendees are invited to purchase a tasting at one of their favorite restaurants where they will sample a tasting and additional wine pairings with 1,500 or so of their closest friends.

All you have to do is call one of the participating resturants (see the list here) and make a reservation. Tastings range from $40-$150. Live music and entertainment start around 4 p.m. and those who aren't participating in the culinary aspect are certainly welcome to partake in all music and activity.

....and in other good news, the weather is supposed to remain in the '80s, so hello sum-sum-summer time.

Make a reso stat, restaurants are selling out right and left. We promise you don't want to miss this. Already got tix? Let us know where you'll be sitting in the comments below!
