We'd love to have every one of our readers in the magazine's People section at some point, including your dad. Luckily, we're covering two very diverse events this weekend.

If your dad likes to lounge on a nice summer day with a cold beer, take him to Brewfest at Snowbird. If he's the athletic type, we're also covering the Huntsman 140.

Snowbird has agreed to send us the best shots from Brewfest, their annual nod to more than a dozen Utah breweries with beer samples, food and live music. Smile for the camera!

12–7 p.m. on June 18–19 (perfect way to spend Father’s Day).

Here are this year’s breweries: Bohemian, Desert Edge, Red Rocks Brewing, Uinta, Hoppers, Ruby River, Moab, Wasatch, Squatters, Roosters, Four +, Park City, Shades of Pale and Epic Brewing.

SLmag photographer, Francie Aufdemorte will cover the Huntsman 140 bike ride from Delta, UT to the Huntsman Cancer Institute in SLC—yeah, it’s a long ride—on June 18.

If you’d prefer, split the distance in a relay team with each member of the team taking on a different section of the course. For a shorter ride, Huntsman Cancer Foundation is also hosting the Huntsman 40 from Saratoga Springs to SLC.

It’s between $50 and $70 to sign up, depending on your ride. Click here for more info.
