Get out your platform shoes and take a stroll down memory lane. Peery's Egyptian Theater in Ogden is having a double dose of 70's on Saturday, June 18. The theater is showing Saturday Night Fever (1977), rated R, at 7 PM. The film, starring John Travolta and Karen Lynn Gorney, will be followed by a disco party in the Ogden Eccles Conference Center (Club OEC).

Tickets for the film are $5, and the disco party is $10, or $15 on the day of the event. The disco party will immediately follow the film. There's lots of good little munchies and a cash bar at the party, with music provided by DJ Johnny Bravo.

Even better is the costume contests with prizes. Just a few of the categories are best dressed man, best dressed woman, best shoes, best dance moves, things like that. Bust out those old bellbottoms, flower-power accessories, afro wigs, and other 70's garb and show up all of your friends; take a prize home to prove it.

Peery's Egyptian Theater is at 2415 Washington Boulevard in Ogden. If you're coming from Salt Lake, think about taking the Front Runner--There's not a lot of parking space in the area, you won't have to deal with the evening traffic jams, and a bus can take you right to the Theater. And the Conference Center is located just next door to that. You can buy tickets online at www.peerysegyptiantheater.com or by phone at 801-689-8700. Boogie down!
