If you picked up our current issue, hopefully you also took a look at our 75 Things to Do with a Bored Kid feature. The first big summer activity we put in the article is acting camps at the Children's Theatre, which just sent us camp dates.

Keep in mind, tuition is due two weeks before camp and ranges from $170 to $275.

June 13-24

Mermaid Camp (ages 4-6 and 7-13), 9-11 a.m. Action Camp (ages 5-13), 12-2 p.m.

June 27-July 1

Voice Camp (ages 5-7 and 8+), 9-11 a.m. Shakespeare Camp (ages 8+), 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m.

July 11-22

Creature Camp (ages 4-6), 9-11 a.m. Creature Camp (ages 7+), 9-11:30 a.m.

Aug. 1-12

Musical Theatre Camp (ages 5-7), 9-11 a.m. Musical Theatre Camp (ages 8+), 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m.

All camps end with the recital of a play that fits the theme of the camp. Camp goals for students vary on age and camp, but they all include vocal control, team building, body control, confidence, rehearsing, memorization and more.
