If you haven't heard about our Tastemakers event, you probably haven't been on our site in a while. It's almost all we've been talking about lately.
Tastemakers highlights some of the state's best food and beverage. For $20, you'll receive tastings and entertainment on event nights, as well as up to 3 months of exclusive offers and discounts from participating restaurants. Wine and beer pairings may be added for an additional $10!
147 West Broadway, May 19-20.
You'll also have your chance to get in our magazine's People section. Photographer Cortney Finlayson will be at the event on Thursday, May 19.
And yes, we do realize other events are going on this weekend, too.
Cortney will also be snaping photos at Salt Lake CAP Head Start's fashion show, Threads at the Salt Lake Hardware Building on Friday, May 20.
The fashion show will feature styles from SLC's most fashion-forward boutiques, and unique items from the show will be sold on site. Ticket sales and 20 percent of shopping will help build the new Head Start preschool building. Click here for more info.
Utah's Entertainment and Choice Awards
SLmag is getting photos from the Utah's Entertainment & Choice Awards at the Salt Palace on May 20.
Media in Utah compete to be named the best, and we're up for The Choice in Print Media Award (given to the best magazine, newspaper or other printed media in the state).
It will be hosted by Daniel Bernhardt with special presenters Donny Osmond and David Archuleta. BYU b-ball stud Jimmer Fredette will also be there.
