So, go ahead and scratch all those spring-inspired outdoor plans, and replace them with wine-filled weekend. Yes, I said wine. (No, I don't have a problem.)
You can indulge/imbibe in one or two nights of wine tastings or any of the individual events, depending on your plans and preferences.
The weekend gets under way with a reception from 7-9 p.m. at the Remede Spa, featuring mini-treatments; including massages and hand/foot treatments. Stop in for a taste of wine, a bit of pampering and a nosh. During the informal reception passed appetizers from J&G Grill will include: caviar and crepes, spring pea soup, tuna tartar with lemon cream and more.
The fun continues Saturday with a wine tasting (3:30-6:00 p.m.) hosted by Robert Sinskey, where you'll learn all about the vino, the vineyard and about operations/philosophy behind a 100% organic and certified biodynamic vineyard. (And, if you are like me and do not know a single thing about what I just wrote, I highly recommend you go up and learn.) Passed and shared bites, including: black truffle fritters, crispy pork belly and spring pizza will be on hand to enjoy.
As I said before, the whole weekend is customizable. Take an afternoon for tasting or spend the whole weekend at St. Regis with one of these deals:
