Spring has not sprung just yet, but all sorts of spring styles have. It's only a matter of time 'til we are back in sandals and sun dresses, and it never hurts to shop now and stock up! Lots of our fav boutiques have fab sales going on and new styles coming in this weekend, so why not take a Saturday shopping spree? Here are just a few of our favorite finds and shop-talk sales to put on your weekend radar:

The Children's Hour:

The quaint not-just-for-the-kids boutique in Sugarhouse is hosting a huge 50-70% sale featuring all those fall and winter items that are still in the store. The boutique carries one of the largest Free People and BB Dakota selections in Salt Lake, as well as fun gifts, trinkets, kiddie clothes and an array of gifts-to-give. Drop by and steal some last minute winter pieces. It is still snowing after all, those fall/winter lines will last us Utahn's well into March.

Apt. 202

Another one of our 9th & 9th staples, Apt. 202 is receiving daily shipments of fabulous spring styles from BCBG and more. We are currently loving this dusty purple shirtdress from BCBGeneration. (Keep your eyes peeled for it in an upcoming fashion feature in Salt Lake mag!)

Frolics Boutique in Holladay recently revamped into a designer consignment and is having a huge outwear sale starting Monday, Feb.1. All outwear is 25% off, and, of course, it is still coat-weather in SLC, so stop in and warm up. Facebook friends and SLmag readers can get in on the sale starting today and get dibs on the best.

Koo Der Ker

One more 9th & 9th Boutique (hey, you can make a day of shopping 9th & 9th, right?!): Koo De Ker. I'm sure you've all been there and experienced the darling, affordable fashions, but I almost fell of my chair when I saw these owl-inspired accessories posted on their facebook page. The smart accent pieces are an adorable way to spice up any jeans-and-tee get up.

The Honey Shoe

Last, but certainly not least, I stumbled across the ladies behind The Honey Shoe a few weeks back and fell in love. Molly and Merrick, two Utah ladies, have started a specialty shoe store in SLC, boasting a constantly-growing selection of eclectic, unique and hard-to-find kicks. I'm already a proud owner of the studded flats below and can't wait to get my hands on more. While the ladies are still working on getting a store front set up, you can still order shoes from their site.
