4 p.m. Discussion and Comic Book Singing: Lynne Hershman Leeson
Hershman Leeson debuted her film on the American Feminist Movement, !Women Art Revolution, at Sundance this year and also created RAW/WAR- a multimedia video archive installation, documenting the achievements of women artists. She'll talk on the installation tonight. Get there early, and stick around for a comic book signing (yes, she's very multi-talented) at 5 p.m.

8 p.m. Party: Celebrate New Frontier at the Art Center
The Art Center presents the Sundance New Frontier program's first session through Jan. 29. Exhibits include work by Mark Boulos, Lynn Hershman Leeson, Open Ended Group and Bill T. Jones, Aaron Koblin and Chris Milk, and James Franco (yes, that James Franco).
The artists are getting together for a party, in honor of Sundance and the exhibit, tonight. It's invite only, but we'll be there and will make sure to share the highlights. Rumor has it, Franco will be there, too.
If you're not on the list, still drop by to check out New Frontier. You won't be sorry.
The second half of New Frontier runs Feb. 4-March 25, and featured work by Takehisa Mashimo, Akio Kamisato and Satoshi Shibata, Avish Khebrehzadeh, Daniel Canogar, Miwa Matreyek, Squid Soup and Lance Weiler.
