You can still purchase your $10 discount pass for over 25 stores at the gateway (read more about that here), so you might as well take advantage of all the holiday cheer taking over The Gateway.
Bundle up and spend Saturday checking off those holiday wish lists at and finish with the annual Light Up the Night celebration.
The celebration officially kicks off the holidays at the Gateway, flipping the 'on' switch for Christmas Lights with a special guest appearance by local fave Peter Breinholt. Breinholt's Christmas concerts have been local yuletide tradition since 2003.
He'll perform songs from his Christmas album with his four-piece band and string section.
Festivities also include lighting of the 2010 tree (which is rumored to be a 46-foot big ol' blue spruce straight outta American Fork) and a special appearance by the jolly old man himself.
Many stores will be offering holiday specials, as well.
Don't forget to stop into Bear Country Cookies for a pumpkin and dark Chocolate Cookie and a cup of cocoa to warm you up!
And if you spend $100 dollars on your gifts (which is basically a given...) between Nov. 19-Nov. 23 you'll receive tickets to one of three upcoming shows at the Salt Lake Acting Company.
