Who says you can't run your own errands and show the kids a good time?
Get your shopping done, and give the kids their chance to paint pumpkins. Then bring those books back to the library, while your teen meets her favorite author and the little ones watches The Karate Kid. Finally, bring the entire clan to a play at the Hale Centre Theatre.
Shop a little, paint some pumpkins
Shop the Gateway early, before you bring the kids to the North end for pumpkin painting at 1 p.m. While the kids paint, parents can learn about helping children in foster care. It's all thanks to Utah Foster Care Foundation and Utah Educational Savings Plan. Radio Disney will be there at 2 p.m. for games and prizes.
