Take note, that 90 degree weather you are currently experiencing on the first day of October isn't going to last. There will (cross your fingers) be snow in the near future, therefore you can potentially start considering skiing.

October is unofficially 'pre-ski' season a.k.a time to swap your stuff and load up on new/used gear.

2nd Track Sports starts the swappage this weekend with a buy/sell for gear. The outdoor consignment shop swap offers free admission, slightly used winter gear and raffles both Fri/Sat to benefit local Wasatch Adaptive Sports programs.

On the same snow front, Snowbasin's early season pass sale wraps up Sunday, Oct. 3. Season passes are $975 for adults, although prices increase Monday to $1,100. Youth, teen and young adult passes (ages 7-26) are on sale for $225-$600; prices will increase by $50 after the sale.

Snowbunnies, rejoyce!
