Stephen Brown's Yoga Confidential

This dance-theater combo is making it's last run this weekend, with performances tonight and Saturday. Dancer Stephen Brown teamed up with Salt Lake Acting Company's Saturday's Voyeur writer Nancy Borgenicht to create Yoga Confidential, a satire of sorts about all that's wonderful and terrible about yoga in the USA. According to the creators, the performance features "adult language, very immature content and unforgettable forays into crudeness."

Saturday, Sept. 11:

12th Annual Cow Ballet

What do you get when you cross a dunk tank, cow patties and people dressed as cows dancing choreography by Randy Barton? Well the Cow Ballet, of course, Mountain Town Music's annual fun fundraiser. There will be live music by Mudpuddle and lots of games for adults and kids, or kid-like adults.

Sunday, Sept 12

Utah State Fair

It's been running since Thursday, the 9th, but this Sunday would be a good pick for the Utah State Fair. The action starts at 9 AM with rodeo speed events, comedians, and get this, a racing pig show. (What does this mean?)

At night, catch Blues on First at the Gazebo Stage (9 PM). You can't go wrong with Blues.
