Parkite and our fave Frend Kevin Pearce and his mother Pia checked in with Matt Lauer and the Today Show Tuesday a.m. to talk about his swift recovery from his horrific fall and devastating brain injury sustained at PCMR last December.

Pearce, an Olympic favorite prior to the accident, has undergone eight months of grueling PT and is continuing a recovery his doctors are calling nothing short of miraculous.

Still not 100 percent, Pearce told Lauer he has no recollection of the fall attempting a double cork during a training run or the 45 days that followed.

Pearce, who was immobile for months, is still working on regaining strength, vision and reflexes and vows to return to snowboarding.
